Lisa has almost 20 years of experience working in public education, spending the first 10 years of her career as a School Psychologist before becoming a district-level administrator.  As an administrator, she supported the special education and 504 eligibility processes for a large school district in Virginia and then transitioned to supporting district-wide implementation of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) within the framework of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports.  Lisa has a strong interest in furthering inclusive and equitable teaching and learning practices and policies within public education.  She has presented on Equitable Learning and Discipline Practices, as well as Implementing a Multi-Tiered System of Supports, at the International Conference on Positive Behavior Support as well as at the state level for Virginia Tiered Systems of Supports.
